When an error is identified that affects the accuracy or understanding of a published article but does not invalidate the main findings, the journal may publish an appropriate correction.

Retractions

An article may be considered for retraction where serious concerns arise regarding research integrity, reliability of findings, plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabrication, falsification, or other significant issues.

Expressions of Concern

Where an investigation is ongoing and the available information raises substantial concerns about a published article, the journal may issue an expression of concern while the matter is reviewed.

Transparency

Post-publication notices should clearly identify the affected article and explain the nature of the correction, concern, or retraction.
